FIRED!
Well, after 8 years of service to the same company, I was let go today. I had wondered why there was extra money in my bank account this morning. It turns out to be the vacation time I hadn’t yet used that I was being paid for. I will receive a couple weeks pay as severance and my medical coverage will run until the end of the month. Now I have to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.
This sucks!
